Raised in the construction business, Burt has always been taught by both his father and grandfather to be a perfectionist and to never accept less than perfect craftsmanship. He has a true passion for building homes and is most comfortable working with his trades and customers. With his knowledge of the construction business and his ability to truly "listen" to his customers, Burt's customers feel comfortable trusting him with their greatest investment.

Brittany began her home construction career working under production builders in Memphis, Tennessee for four years, starting as an accountant, but taking the position and evolving it into a full-spectrum view of the construction industry, including everything from financing to land development to interior design, to eventually day to day construction on job sites. She looked at her time in Memphis as an extra four years of college, the best hands-on learning experience she could get.

While working in Memphis, she learned to work hard to achieve another person's vision. While doing this, she began to develop and cultivate a strong vision of her own aspirations. She knew there was a lack of a "Woman's Touch" in the business, unless you incorporated the extra expense of an interior designer. She knew that if she could build houses that catered to the woman of the house, she could possibly have a bonafide business on her hands. She falls in love with every house she builds; therefore pushing her to make sure every one of them has all the perfect touches. She realizes that you are selling a lifestyle, a dream, a home, not just a house.

Sugg Homes realize that people today want much more out of their homes. Televised home improvement programs and events such as Home Shows have raised the standards of today's educated homeowner.
